Blair LeMire, PhD is a musician, photographer, writer, and producer who first garnered the attention of the international press in 1998 when he performed his song Linda Angel at the vigil held for Linda McCartney at London's Trafalgar Square. The heartfelt tribute attracted the attention of news cameras, and his performance was televised internationally.
LeMire created, Moomie's Garage, which first aired as a cartoon short on the Nickelodeon Network in 2002. LeMire has also produced a number of music videos and created and produced the hilarious underground cult indie-film The Ticklebash
An avid vegetarian and lover of the earth, LeMire is perhaps best known as the "Bamboo Brother", and has spent the past decade spreading "bamboo awareness" throughout the world. "It's strong, it's beautiful, you can eat it, wear it, create music with it, and it absorbs carbon dioxide better then any other plant, making it a potent partner in curtailing global warming".
